An evening of gentle grounding yoga, meditation, and vocal & rhythm activation for a solid foundation of personal empowerment.
May 15, 2026
6:30pm-9:00pm
*Limited to 12 spots
Join Jess Frischolz for an hour-long yoga class just before sunset that combines movement, mindfulness, and meditation with the healing qualities of nature in a beautiful outdoor setting.
During our time together, we’ll move through a grounding practice to help you develop conscious body and breath connection and a deeper sense of awareness, to both yourself and your surroundings. We’ll explore gently flowing sequences, static poses, and moments of mindfulness, taking advantage of the sights, sounds, and sensations Mama Nature and the flower farm have to offer.
As we move and settle into various postures, you’ll be presented with variations when appropriate, allowing you to decide what feels best in your body and whether you need to find more ease or a deeper challenge today.
We’ll end with a guided meditation–a few moments of stillness that allow you to soak up your practice and welcome in a sense of ease and calm, preparing you for the vocalization circle that follows.
Karen-Renée will be guiding participants in a very special Sound Circle vocalizing and drumming experience.
Reclaim your voice and innate rhythm in a fun, powerful, high-vibe way. Your voice is medicine for your own body and being. Tap into the frequencies that you can make with your voice to clear energies, harmonize, and resonate your own body temple. Alive sound vibration is vital for your well-being. Come and be empowered to reclaim what is natural and good for you.
Karen-Renée brings the power of the frame drum to the circle. A one-sided drum that resonates, amplifies, and creates harmonics with your voice. Experiencing your voice through the reflection that the drum head creates serves to reduce mental chatter, strengthens your vocal frequencies, and creates a fun interactive way to explore the variety of sounds you can create.
Frame drums, and other sound healing instruments will be provided. You will leave feeling more embodied, connected, blissful, and grateful. No musical experience necessary - just be open to be you.
-A mat you don’t mind placing on the grass
-A towel or blanket to place under your mat (optional-but provides a little extra protection from dew/dirt)
-A pillow or cushion to sit on during our vocalizing & drumming experience
-A bottle of water or something to stay hydrated
-Blocks, if they're part of your practice (optional)
-A willingness to explore how yoga, nature, and sound work together to help us feel more grounded, connected, and empowered
The fee for this experience is $44 and is paid upon registration.
Please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes before class begins.
This class takes place on the lawn at Perry Family Farm. The address is 1111 Academy Rd. Lebanon, TN
Tennessee weather can be wild and unpredictable!
When the forecast is calling for rain, tornados, or any other weather that would make our outdoor session unenjoyable (or impossible!), I will be keeping a close eye on the forecast.
☀ If the weather is nice, we’ll practice outside
🌧 If it’s a little rainy, we’ll practice in the barn loft
⛈ If the weather is severe, the event will be canceled
*If we determine class needs to be canceled, all registrants will receive an email no less than 1 hour before the class start time to inform them of the cancellation and give a full refund.
If you need to cancel, please do so at least 24 hours before our event so you can receive a refund and I can share your spot with someone else. If you do not cancel and do not show up, a refund will not be issued.
Jess has been practicing yoga since 2008, with a dedicated daily practice since 2015, and started teaching in 2021. She was inspired to deepen her practice through the kind and loving guidance she received from her teacher and mentor, Jennifer Ewert, after becoming a committed student at the studio. With her experience as a former classroom teacher, Jess’s decision to guide others in their own yoga journeys was a seamless transition. She received her 200hr YTT with Jennifer in 2021 from Akasha Yoga Center, with a focus on hatha and vinyasa styles, and influences of viniyoga as well. She has continued her studies through various courses, books, live workshops, and additional trainings, such as a 30hr children’s yoga training in 2024.

Jess teaches with a gentle, lighthearted approach, empowering you to tune into your body and honor what you need by offering variations to find ease or deepen into a posture. Her classes allow you to develop a higher sense of body, breath, and mind connection, whether flowing through vinyasas or finding nuanced movements in static poses. Her goal is to help you cultivate more self-awareness and become more deeply connected to yourself, others, and the world around you.
